and cygnal political consulting group have teamed up to produce 2016 presidential caucus flash polling in the first-in-the-nation state of Iowa with the first results set for release Thursday, July 18.

TheRUN2016/cygnal poll surveyed 1,705 Iowa Republicans and 2,175 Iowa Democrats between July 10-12 about their candidate preferences in a potential 2016 presidential caucus contest.

The results of the GOP survey will be published on this website Thursday with the Democratic results to follow in the coming days after.

The polling comes just as two 2016 White House contenders — Sens. Ted Cruz and Rand Paul — head to Des Moines to speak at the Iowa Renewal Project, an event organized by pastors from around the country.
